As I sat there in the TD Gardens under the championship banners of the Boston Celtics and the Bruins, I was once again reminded what each of those championships means for the locals there in Boston. A championship is a dream come true for your city and it makes it even more personal for the players to win a championship for the city they grew up in. Growing up in Utah and covering the local events means so much to me, but understand that there are so many that have used growing up in the state as their launching pad to the pro series. I spent some time with local Kevin Fedderson in Boston and we talked about what it means to represent Salty Peaks and the state of Utah so check out his interview http://www.tsquaredsports.com/multimedia/ . I was also privileged to spend some time with local Boston products skateboarding legend Andy MacDonald and Norah Vasetellios. Watch the videos and listen to the pride they have about skating for the hometown fans. This is the best support any rider can recieve, so step up and cheer on the local riders.
