Roseville BMX Race Results

Our newest sponsored rider Jon Silva loved the site so much he wanted to write and keep you all updated on the BMX races across the country as he rides in the competiotions. T Squared loves having his contributions. Check out more of his work at www.racerbmxonline.com

Here at Roseville now… watched Friday practice and although the track is littered with jumps, the fast am’s and pro’s make it look pretty easy.  I think there’s only 1 jump that the faster guys may jump. Everything else pretty basic and most likely will not test the talents of these guys.

Pro standouts included Khalen Young, who seemed to be in a 10 gate drag race with Randy Stumphauser…looks like it went 50/50 to me… The New Zealanders (near and dear to my heart as I’m half Kiwi) looked really fast as well as the usual suspects of the Gold Medalist Maris, Nick Long and one of the Intense guys…who, but the way are officially sponsored by Monster Energy.  Support those who support you.  Buy an energy drink and tweak out for a few hours. Steven Cisar looks to have pulled himself out of a temporary slump and is hauling the mail again.  Steven has, by far, the best cornering skills in BMX.  I challange you to protest me on that one…amazing.

Fresh off of back surgery, Mike Day is here showing off his new bike and is signing some auto’s for the fans.  I think it’s pretty awesome when injured pro’s still come to the race to show support.  His 2010 GT is on display and is getting plenty of eyes on it. Donny Robinson is in the house as well even-though he isn’t racing.  He’s got a really good support system behind him and is more busy NOT RACING than he would be racing.  I think he said something about some radio shows and 2 TV interviews.  He’ll be gone by 4:00pm tomorrow.  I think his wife was giving me the “damn your sexy” eye. But don’t say anything.

Other than that, it’s a full house here.  Tony Hoffman looks like he’s about ready to add another A to his ranking level as well as Riley Stair.
Barry Nobles was feeling great when he arrived.  Then a small ride to grab lunch resulted in a car hitting him on his bike.  Seriously a scary moment.  He’s fine, and practiced, but you can tell his right leg/knee is bothering him some.  Thank heavens it wasn’t any worse. Next stop on the race series is Rockford Illinois June 18th-20th
