Flow State: Let Winter Begin!

In October there are two very important holidays, both that can take your breath away. While one holiday treats you to candy and scares you at haunted houses; the other marks the official beginning to winter.

Warren Miller Films once again brings us a holiday where in a night, athletes will take your breath away as they conquer the best snow and lines mother earth has to offer.

Salt Lake City has once again been selected by Warren Miller Entertainment to push play for the first time and host the World Premier of their 63rd annual film, Flow State.

“Warren Miller Entertainment couldn’t be happier to bring our World Premier event back to Salt Lake City,” said Max Bervy, Managing Director of Warren Miller Films. “Abravanel Hall is the perfect venue for debuting Flow State in front of the media, our ski industry partners and the Utah winter sports community.”

Flow State marks my own personal milestone as it is the 10th Warren Miller Film I have experienced.

Flow State features several athletes from Utah including Flow State cover boy; Julian Carr.

“Its pretty much as cool as it gets being a professional skier to be on the cover of a Warren Miller film,” said Carr. “It’s in the DNA of every skier to aspire to Warren Miller, so to make the cover again and to be featured in the film is a lifetime honor that is very special to me.”

Also featured in the film, newly named top 10 Ski Resort; Canyons Ski Resort.

“We are honored and thrilled to be featured in the film,” said Steve Pastorino Director of Public Relations Canyons Resort. “To be one of two North American ski resorts featured, and to have our athletes in the film makes for exciting times at Canyons Resort. Coupled with Ski Magazine’s article naming us as a top 10 resort showcases what we have to offer here at Canyons.” Resort.”

Attendees of the film premier will have a chance to meet star athletes from the film including Jess McMillan, Tommy Moe, Daron Rahlves, Chris Davenport, Julian Carr and more.

Tickets are available at Christy Sports, Abravanel Box Office and ArtTix.org. Check out warrenmiller.com for film details, videos, photos and more. Winter is coming, celebrate the beginning of the season with Warren Miller and Flow State.
