Nitro: (vowel) – A univalent group forming a chemical reaction.

Circus: (noun) – a large group of people travelling together on the circuit of a particular high-profile activity.

This univalent group; Nitro Circus, a team of many combined into one, produce a reaction unmatched by any other combination in the world.

Nitro Circus Live returned to it roots as the show came to Salt Lake City and the Energy Solution Arena Friday January 17, 2014.

“This show is about family,” said Chad Kagy, cast member and show veteran. “Salt Lake is our home. It is also where many of our members are from and tonight we get to showcase our passion for what we do.”

Gregg Godfrey, owner Godfrey Entertainment, spoke about the return to where Nitro Circus all began.

“For me and my family the whole Godfrey clan tonight is incredibly special,” said Godfrey. “I know I can speak for myself and my family when I say that we have been saving up something special to give back to the community that has supported us through the years. This has been twelve years in the making and tonight in front of a sold out show, our families and friends, nothing could be any more special.”

Several of the show athletes accomplished first time tricks during the show with several of them commenting that the roar of the sold out crowd aided them.

“Salt Lake has always been a great place to come to and compete through the years,” said Nate Adams, Pro FMX Rider. “This state knows and understands the sports and share in the same passion that we as athletes have, to hear the crowd explode every time a trick was landed was just incredible.”

Words cannot describe the visual experience that is Nitro Circus. The best of the athletes’ talents are on display, choreographed to make the univalent effect that form a Nitro reaction.
