The Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket, provides the first layer of warmth on the coldest of winter days and the right amount of breathability and warmth when worn solo on a sunny spring day of riding.

Using their proprietary blend of premium down, the Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket is rated to 5 degrees. Using body-contouring heat mapping, the down is placed in strategic places to maintain maximum heat trapping within the body.

Tested in Utah, among the differing mountain resorts, and with a body sensor strapped to the chest, the Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket, worn solo, held core body warmth for five hours with the core degree only falling one degree every hour in cold temperatures below 32 degrees. In temperatures between 32-45 degrees the jacket held the core temperature to a 0.3-degree reduction.

The Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket is manufactured with Polartec, a 4 way stretchable, highly breathable material, allowing the jacket to be extremely lightweight while remaining technical.

For those using the Canada Goose Hybridge Lite jacket on sunny days, the Polartec material absorbs moisture allowing your body to remain dry from sweat, keeping your body warmer. The breathability of the Polartec material allows for ventilation to keep the body dry while also being comfortable against the skin. Polartec and Canada Goose use tight durable stitching on the outer layer that enhances water repellency and durability.

The Canada Goose Timber Shell uses a 3-layer fabric to make the shell almost water proof. While no jacket can be water tight, the Canada Goose Timber Shell is close.

All zippers are double-lined and double-stitched to provide extra protection for water seepage that can be found through the zipper. The 3-layer Tri-Durance material is water resistant as well. Tested in heavy rainfall, the Canada Goose Timber Shell repelled water at the same pace it was falling while keeping the body dry. The inner lining of the shell remained dry as well.

The 3-layer Tri-Durance material is also wind resistant. Useful in the Utah market, the wind brings in storms and clears them out so you will have ski days where the wind is a contributing factor to the success of your ski day.

Lastly, both jackets, the Hybridge Lite and the Timber Shell are durable to rips and tears due to the stitching used in the jacket. Tightly woven, double stitching, provides the durability the jacket needs to perform in the backcountry where at any given moment a tree branch can reach out to snag you.

In conclusion the Canada Goose Hybridge Lite and Timber Shell jacket are fitted to follow the contours of the body while providing maximum performance and increased flexibility within the garment. The Hybridge Lite jacket weighs less than half a pound, making this a quality-layering piece for all skiing and snowboarding days cross country skiing, running and more.

The Timber Shell is designed to thrive in wet and windy conditions making it a great complimentary piece to your collection of winter apparel for the ever-changing winter conditions in the Intermountain West.

Compliments to Canada Goose for expanding their variety of jackets from extreme winter apparel, to providing all around jackets and layers for you to be able to find the combo that works best for your conditions.
