Drama intensifies as Supercross closes the season in Vegas

After coming in second to Eli Tomac in Salt Lake City, Ryan Dungey found himself 3 points down leading into the East Rutherford races. The drama surrounding the 450X Class Championships took a wild turn in front of 60,000 screaming fans in Metlife Stadium.

After winning the opening heat, Dungey took the holeshot in the main event and found himself in position to take back the points lead after Eli Tomac went down in a turn and fell so far back in the pack that Dungey closed the previous 3 point gap and finished with a controversial win over teammate Marvin Musquin.
