While motocross is one of the key components at BNQT, we believe that without question no matter what the sport, if there is any horse power involved, we are all in.
Today Land Rover North America announced a new title sponsorship with the Kentucky Three Day Equestrian signing a four year sponsorship agreement.
Taking place at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington April 26-29, 2018, the competition will be rebranded as the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event. In addition to the title sponsorship announcement, Land Rover has also pledged its continued support of the United States Equestrian Federation, extending its deal with the federation through 2020.
“With this title sponsorship, Land Rover is increasing its support of one of America’s largest and most prestigious equestrian events, attracting the world’s best horse-and-rider combinations,” said Kim McCullough, Vice President of Marketing, Jaguar Land Rover North America. “As one of only six Four Star Three-Day Events in the world and the only one in the Western Hemisphere, the Kentucky Three-Day Event annually welcomes over 80,000 spectators and is televised on NBC, reaching more than 115 million households across the United States.”
“In addition to the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event, the brand just announced its continued support of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) as the official automotive sponsor of USEF, extending its deal with the federation through 2020. The continued commitment to the USEF allows the organization to aid its athletes in planning and training for international competition.
McCullough on how this announcement also strengthens the adventure sports community.
“This title sponsorship allows Land Rover to strengthen its relationship with the equestrian community, an important audience for the brand. We are able to engage with that key demographic at the event with a number of activations. Attendees can explore the ‘Ultimate Stable Experience’ in the sponsor village or take part in the seventh annual ‘Land Rover Tailgate Challenge’ where Land Rover owners compete to create over-the-top tailgate parties. There will also be a specially designed off-road demonstration course where ticket holders can test-drive the newest Land Rover models.”
If there is one thing adventure and action sports fans can do it is tailgate.
Additionally, a selection of the latest vehicles will be on display on a specially designed off-road demonstration course. Ticket holders are invited to test-drive the newest Land Rover models which will include the latest Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, the all-new Range Rover Velar, Discovery Sport and the all-new Discovery.
While Equestrian does not rise to the level of extreme motorsports, it is definitely an adventure sport that teaches riders all about discipline, how to compete and the desire to improve your own personal skills, all the great qualities the extreme sports teach.
“The Land Rover brand embodies an unstoppable spirit of adventure with every Land Rover vehicle equally at home both on-and off-road,”said McCullough. “Land Rover vehicles are known for their legendary capability, so there is an organic connection with the adventure sports community. Along with our support for equestrian, the Land Rover brand also supports Britain’s America’s Cup sailing team continue as Title and Exclusive Innovation Partner of Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR). This summer, Land Rover extended its commitment to Land Rover BAR for the 36th America’s Cup.”
